About Me
My name is Amatoga (pronounced Ah-MAH-toe-gah). I found my voice through the experience of being unheard.
My first school picture was at three. Even then, I was precocious — reading at two, loving to write, sing, and dance. Though I loved performing, I was quiet, observing more than speaking. Quiet but bold, when I spoke, people listened. One day in preschool, I wasn’t dressed for recess. I offered to read on the bench and invited others to join. My teacher called me defiant, but really, I was creating options. That moment set the tone for my life: I speak up, act boldly, and lead others.
Today, my voice is my signature.
I bring words and ideas to life — whether on stage as a keynote speaker, in retreats and workshops, behind the microphone as a voice actor or audiobook narrator, or as a podcast guest. My work sparks connection, shifts energy, and creates spaces where audiences feel seen, inspired, and ready to act.
I draw on global experience.
At Gallup, I coached executives at Fortune 500 companies and federal leaders. Before that, I taught in Haiti and New York City. My talks and facilitation sessions help leaders and audiences build self-knowledge, strengthen self-awareness, and understand how their behavior shapes the world around them.
Listening is essential.
When people are truly heard, their ideas shape decisions and inspire action. I use my voice to help leaders, audiences, and creators see new possibilities, connect deeply, and take bold, meaningful action.
Bridging Voices
My background in cultural anthropology guides my commitment to grounding decisions and conversations in data, story, and the lived experiences of those at the center of the work. I focus on diaspora communities, who often feel in limbo — unheard by their home countries and overlooked in their new ones. Listening, through both numbers and narratives, is how I bridge that gap so diaspora voices can shape meaningful impact.
As a Fulbright in Colombia, I learned that culture shapes leadership — and that listening can unite even the most complex communities. Today, I partner with Haitian civil society to engage the diaspora in building Haiti’s future, bringing global perspective and hands-on experience in leadership development.

Life outside the mic
Ayrson Heráclito
Bori, 2011
When I’m not behind a mic, you’ll find me skating, hiking solo, singing karaoke, watching movies with my family, reading sci-fi or fantasy, learning how to keep plants alive, and watching animal videos because I love all living creatures. I enthusiastically acquire new hobbies as if it were a sport. These are the things that fill my cup, spark joy, and keep my curiosity wide open.

Travel is my first love. I am always chasing my next adventure.

The Kind of Voice Work I Love
I’m drawn to bold, imaginative storytelling — especially African and Caribbean mythologies that honor heritage with depth and playfulness, shaped by my bi-cultural experience and my work in English, Spanish, and Haitian Creole. I love the craft of ads and animation, where a single line can linger for days. Clients describe my voice as electric, sultry, and calming. For me, voice work is resonance: bridging the familiar with the extraordinary, one story at a time.
